      Pros

      This site has lots of potential in business, as they are working in high $ value product line. Too much discrimination between the employees, this place is leading by undergraduates who has no knowledge in science as well as in business. I hope from head office someone is watching this place as well as this management.

      Cons

      I will never recommend anyone to work in this place. Lot's of life timer employees working in this place, they have no knowledge what the are doing in science they are just like a cook not a scientist. This group of employees are the biggest problem in this place. As I mentioned management is clue less, they don't know what they are doing.

      Pros

      Millipore has had a long standing reputation as a leader in the Life Sciences and Biotech tools industry with brand recognition founded on superior product quality and unmatched customer experience. Innovation and professional development were once among the hallmarks of its sucess.

      Cons

      Under new management, Millipore has become internally focused on meeting the outdated needs of its parent company's struggling pharmaceutical division at the expense of its once unrivalled market focus. Innovation and career development are almost non-exisitent today and likely soon to disappear altogether.

      Pros

      Opportunity for advancement (if you change departments...not if you continue in the same) Benefits - 401K match, tuition reimbursement (although only 3,500/year....) Most people are great $100 yearly bonus - I always look forward to this

      Cons

      Salary Raises don't keep up with inflation and are a joke. 2.7% increase for meeting and exceeding all expectations.....and I wonder why most employees are mediocre Raises are typically pushed back (for example to April) to save cash. What a great way to reward your employees? Sigmotions (promotion without title or pay increase) Layoffs without reason/justification Turnover is high - only the unmotivated employees stay
