Poor leadership, there is immense bias and favoritism shown in clinic. Poor sick policy, fever is required for children to be sent home which leads to staff and other children getting ill. Staff are expected to do session notes during session, which takes away from session time and clients. Admin time to write notes is not guaranteed. Because of this, most of my coworkers do their notes at home unpaid. Breaks are also very short. Staff are also required to use all paid time off before they are able to use any unpaid time off. This leads to staff being faced with the decision of burning themselves out or earning a paycheck. There are also times where staff are asked or required to do things outside their job description. This includes ripping up carpet, painting, and deep cleaning toys with chemicals after illness outbreaks in the clinic.
