Cons

Very inconsistent company policies and rules Pathetic ways/procedures followed for employee's performance and capabilities: INTERVIEWS!! ( Yes, they call it 'Comprehensive Review' which is not based on your work or domain instead generic interview questions !!) Firing of people ( yes company says they do not do it, they just ask you to leave on one fine day via Skype or by a phone call) Lack of Team Activities/Team Building measures No long term reliability

Pros

The pros are just to market the company, but in reality there is nothing. If you say, flexible timing is a pro, then what would you say about no fix end time? Yes, that's true. There is no end time and no manager manages client to end your day. Free food is a disaster. I will explain in con, just realized that I am writing more in pros section. :)

Cons

The main villain of company are the top people and managers. They recently awarded them because they completed 10 and 15 years. See where they have taken the company to!!! In 2014-2015, employee strength was rising and it went high to 750. Now it is 300-350 and everyday someone is leaving. The data itself gives the idea what's might be going on inside the organization. Even revenue is going down. The company says that they are not staring at you or your work, as long as you do it effectively, but that's wrong. Managers have a very sharp eye on your activities. If they see that you are doing something else in addition to your work and doing good in your career, they will try to pull you back. They will plan to meet you personally for some discussion. Despite of giving that "personal" discussion some secrecy, they just complain to the CEO and take actions immediately. They do this because they are worried of their positions. Now coming to favouritism. Managers have their favourite team and they feel that that team is the most talented from rest of the employees in the organization. They get a high appraisal every year. But reality is different. Manager protects them with every care, and we all in organization know why, which is out of scope of this textbox. There are few so called "mentors", who pitch them as experts and don't give chance to senior employees to have more opportunities. To maintain the employee strength, recently they hired MCA final year students as interns, which was not happening for last 5 years. Interns are not guided by the "mentors", but told not to take help of any other person in the organization. This is very unprofessional. They have taken down KnowMore (which was the most bad policy in the history of Mindfire), which was initiated by Training Certification team. No company gives money for voluntary work. They were giving money to all employees to write articles, tips etc and there was no tracking system for quality. So, people, just to get some bonus started contributing bad quality contents and the online reputation gone down in couple of months. Though this policy is taken down, now again it is started indirectly with a different name "VEW". They are again asking for technical contents and giving some money in return.

Pros

- Free lunch ( unhygienic ) only get more work done from employees. - Get free bread, jam and banana for breakfast so that you will come office early with the greed of free breakfast and work more. -Will give bonus ( would expect you to be perfectionist in everything and if there is any issue they will take review and threaten to cut your bonus and leave the company ). - Work from home ( but you always have the threat that the Project Manager will call you and force you to come office even if there is no work ) - Will provide a laptop ( so that they can call you at any time of night or weekends and force you to work ).

Cons

- No respect for employees. - Experienced people are treated like TRASH and fresher are GEM and when Fresher become experienced then GEM becomes TRASH. - Very unstable/confused CEO who only cares for MONEY there is no value for employees( Except some of his favs ). - Trying to run the COMPANY as a GROCERY SHOP. - Always changing policy. - No Job security ( can be fired anytime for silly reasons ). - Will give more salary to fresher than experienced guys even if fresher is just sitting and hardly earning any money for company and experienced is working hard and client is super happy with you. - CODE REVIEWS which are good for nothing as someone unaware about your technology and project will take your review and the reviewer might me one who you interviewed when he applied to join the company. - CODE REVIEWS are now done to deduct the bonus of the employee as our Unstable CEO all of a sudden realised that he don't have much funds left because he increased the salary of freshers and as a result he has to give bonus too former employees to maintain the level. - POOR Infrastructure ( people have to walk to 2 floors to just PEE ). - No appraisal on 2015 as our UNSTABLE CEO has lost lots of money on freshers and bonus so instead of appraisal they are calling the experienced guys and deducting their bonus which may keep your salary less than the freshers. - No training to freshers, they want you to work without any training and any guidance because they are paying you higher salary. - OUR CEO thinks he is buying minds already knowledgeable people who even don't have any experience of working on a realtime project and expects them to work like a pro as he is paying enough money to them. - You can't get any help if you are stuck somewhere and you are asked to not help anyone if someone is stuck in some problems/issues. - Investing money on unnecessary events like Surf Festival instead of doing some tech events. I think they have forgot they are a tech company and not a GROCERY SHOP. - They always value favouritism more than knowledge. So a favourite guy with little or no tech knowledge will be getting higher salary but a hard and smart worker who earns thousands of dollars to company each month would always has the threat of termination and getting low salary. - POOR toilets, Internet connection, AC etc. - You can me shifted to any technology anytime and expected to work like a pro in a month and then they will compare you with a 5 year experienced guy. - People who were working as lead for years are now forced to work as a coder as our CEO don't want to pay people who are not coding. - Managers are very good at playing mind games. - They will call you and disturb you even if you are in a hospital for some medical emergence and force you to come online just because they have provided you laptop and the leave you applied for has no value. - People are thought not to be helpful as they think you are wasting time ( very cheap mentality ). - They will tell you to tell truth to clients and anyone else but they themselves will lie to clients and would tell you to lie to clients. - No proper structure is followed for project development - Paying organisations to receive silly awards. If I would keep writing then there would be 1000s of points so just a gentle advice to all who is reading this is DON'T JOIN THIS COMPANY if you are really serious about your career.
