The hype is real

Pros

When I was interviewing it seemed like the company had a really good culture, but sometimes that reality doesn't always match up once you actually start at a company. I can say that the hype around the culture at Miro is real and the way the culture seems is how it actually is. Great culture, strong value system, lots of investment into employees, and employee satisfaction. People get things done here - no intense bureaucracy getting in the way of us making progress.

Cons

I think the compensation packages could be improved. A distributed workforce means more messages coming in at odd times, but management is great about making it clear your time and hours are respected and you do not have to work outside of those.

Great company, long interview process (but worth it)

Pros

- Excellent culture and emphasis on values that are consensus based, which is rare to find. - Great onboarding process, very organized, informative and lots of support from People, Ops and team manager. - Working on a product that encourages inclusivity, with talented and passionate team members behind it across various disciplines - Because of growth, opening a lot of opportunity for progression, new initiative ownership and leadership in general - Promotes professional development to shape expertise as well as relationship-building through social time with colleagues

Cons

- The interview process was quite long, with six interviews for a mid-level role. - Growing so fast (which is good), but that means there are a lot of opportunities and unsure if the hiring rate aligns with workload rate
