Pros

Compensation is decent, but it has to be to retain and attract people. Otherwise, no real pros.

Cons

If you want to hear that you're part of a "family", but then have the exact opposite experience, then MissionSquare is for you. Massive structural and leadership failures and changes over recent years have led to incredible turnover and plummeting morale. Former CEO had to beg employees to change their reviews here to be more positive, so that's an indicator of the direction things are going. Failing business model that does not support the extremely top heavy management structure, yet they are seeking to address this via cuts to the lower workforce. Working here is just like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, when the iceberg is clearly visible and coming closer.

Pros

Competency is high. Culture is returning to very collegial, kind and supportive of work-life. Transparent communication from new acting CEO. OPTIMISM ABOUT FUTURE!!!

Cons

Quite a few clients lost due to changes made 2021-2022 by previous feckless senior management. Problems seem to be recognized and are being addressed.

Pros

Friendly and supportive culture. Not a cut-throat culture. Smaller company, so easy to connect with the person you need to resolve your issue.

Cons

You are always worried about whether the company is going to go under. They didn’t give raises for 2 years in a row. They took away the 401(k) match for the year. The company over values tenure. When you want to challenge status quo the response is “that’s the RC-way”. The entire senior leadership team has been replaced or forced out.
