The vast majority of the people I have worked with are awesome, passionate about students, and generally great to work with. Lots of opportunities for advancement and support for professional development. Great benefits.

Cons

Low pay compared to most other businesses. The "politics" of the university can get challenging while trying to navigate with different offices or through different situations.
