Pros

MSU' will eventually rival the University of Missouri. They sacrificed and made deals with the state to secure their name change, but once all the limits and restrictions are removed they will explode with growth. You will want to be a part of it! And I predict it will benefit the entire state.

Cons

It takes time and patience to wait for good things to happen. In the mean, MSU will continue to be a underfunded school with one of the largest student bodies in the midwest.

Cons

More than 24,000 students in the Missouri State system making it the second largest university in the state Six academic colleges, one School of Agriculture and one Graduate College Almost 4,000 faculty and staff members with 90 percent of full-time ranked faculty holding the most advanced degree in their field
