Pros

A friendly atmosphere, you almost get to know everybody on campus, great life and very low cost of living in Springfield, MO. A great place to work if you are interested in buisiness oriented programs (MBA etc). A beautiful campus.......well taken care of. Lot of benifits and discounts for the employees. Administration and management are easily approachable.

Cons

Lack of PhD programs.....resulting in lack of funding and adequate growth oppurtunity for graduate students. Porrly equipped labs. Not a great scope for clinical research or medical research. Most of the rating for university are recieved for business programs. Lot of funding needed to improve the standard of science departments.
