A Lot of Potential in Mexico but...

Pros

- Flexible work schedule - Opportunity to work internationally - Potential of growth as it is just starting in Mexico - Superb office location - Your travel preferences are taken into consideration

Cons

- Constant harassment by HR Mexico if you do not subdue to their every whim. There is even an generalized fear of getting on their bad side - Compensation and roles are not set appropriately to one's field-related skills, credentials, and experience. - Very biased interpersonal environment. - Inexperienced IT recruitment.

Good company, cares about its employees and good bussiness

Pros

During all my work on this company I had the chance to work in different projects, allow me to focus in the aspects of my career that I most interest. Also I got several promotions and your performance on working actually improves your compensation. Management its easy to approach, of course you need to talk in case you don't like something, but you get always listen. - Working environment its the best - Flexible time, as project can allow it - Understandable management and very personal oriented - You are the owner of your career path - Good compensation - Allow to do intercontinental travel

Cons

- Not easy to keep up the pace - Involves several technologies - Involve to work with different cultures and team are multicultural, which is not easy - As its project oriented, you can change project in few months, for people whom like to do the same for years without change, this is not good - Project start can be really chaotic - not so many benefits

Pros

They pay well and you get to work with different companies on technologies and different companies so there is a lot you can learn, if they cared to put the time in their employees.

Cons

They do not invest in their employees. The company is on a minimal expenses model where the CEO of a 1,000 person+ company has to approve things such as buying a developer a new computer to replace a 5 year old laptop that is falling apart. But that's OK because as long as they repeat their slogan 'we build cutting edge technology' it doesn't matter what really happens. * Benefits - to insure a family it costs a LOT of money. * Vacation time off is only 3 weeks per year, if you're lucky. But to take any more time than 3 days in a row is hard to get approved. * Employees are all out of the office by 5 PM which means it is a ghost town at 17:01. Days are LONG!
