Pros

I wish I could list some pro's that I could list here except that it will give you sales experience.

Cons

I usually never take the time to fill out a review, but I felt that it was necessary... My experience at Mondo was TERRIBLE. It was by far the most poorly run company I have ever worked for. They do a really great job selling you on the interview with all the cool perks and benefits, (monthly manicures where someone literally just paints your finger, pay you 50,000k after 5 years..which only 1 person has ever done because most would rather die than work there for that long) etc but once you're in the door they pretty much own you. Upon being hired, you are told there is a ton of room for advancement and in the ISAM program you are supposed to be promoted to an account director role in 12 weeks. After about 22 weeks, not one of the ISAM's had been promoted and are still cold calling their days away because there "isn't a budget to promote them anymore". You will always work over 40 hours a week without lunch breaks (you won't have time). If you do take a lunch break you are judged, and you should never leave before 5:45pm unless you are closing deals. The turnover rate there is INSANE. In the couple months I was there I saw 7 people either get fired or quit. In an office of around 15 people, thats almost a 50% turnover rate. Maybe management should start looking in the mirror and seeing it as a reflection on how they run their business and how unhappy there employees are. My direct manager sat in another state and had absolutely no clue what was going on. She was impossible to reach, always late to our 1 on 1, if she even showed up at all and only cared about numbers. Management there uses fear as motivation and could care less about you and your career, unless you are making them money. If you are not closing deals, you are pretty much writing your termination letter for yourself. There is very little team work there, no support, and everyone is out for themselves. There is pretty much no where to go with a problem as HR only consists of one person. I would highly encourage never working for this company. I am someone that has a "I want to find out for myself" attitude, but if you are looking for honest feedback, from an employee that wasn't bribed to write a positive review, there you have it.

Pros

Remote, and other employees will feel the same pain.

Cons

Worked for the Boston location for under a year. Working for Mondo is a big mistake anyone can make in their life. They scam their customers, and recruits they bring on for their clients. For example: mondo will charge client $150hr for a data engineer, but actually pay the recruit $60 an hour. Extremely toxic work culture…it can be a soul-sucking experience. The constant negativity, gossip, and backstabbing can make it difficult to feel motivated and engaged in your work. In addition, having a CEO with an ego bigger than the Empire State Building can make it feel like you're working for a company that is more interested in promoting the image of the top brass than in actually delivering results. This can lead to a lack of focus on important goals, which can ultimately harm the company and its employees. Overall, working for a company with these issues can be a demoralizing and frustrating experience that may not be worth the effort. Avoid at all costs!!

Pros

Your coworkers are great and you’ll bond daily about the trauma leadership inflicts on you. It’s remote and the commissions can be okay.

Cons

Literally everything else. The company has no vision or purpose besides closing deals and generating revenue. Leadership is horrible, toxic, and absolutely have no business sense - their business strategy is micromanagement. They’re also very discriminatory and candidates will often get passed on if they have a multicultural name or comms issues”. They’ll set unrealistic quotas and expectations and goals, yet sabotage you by not approving candidates that are qualified and play favorites with recruiters. They boast collaboration and company culture, but it’s all for show. They don’t give a single (insert word) about you or the candidates. I’ve worked at numerous companies and this is by far the worst company I’ve ever worked for. Don’t believe me? Look at the turnover, bad reviews, and the warning at the top of this page. Please don’t work for or work with this company.
