      Pros

      In a word, career advancement. If you have a good idea, you're given the leeway and resources to make it happen. Also, while it's a "mature" tech company, it has the best elements of a startup - lean processes, agile approach to marketing etc...

      Cons

      There is still work to be done on unifying the marketing org, but that work is well underway and with a new CMO should be achieved soon.

      Get to work on extremely interesting backend / distributed system challenges, interact with users who are engineers as well, choose from a variety of tech stacks, big promote from within culture, be able to shift around the company horizontally onto new and important challenges

      Cons

      Dealing with public perceptions from many years ago that still taint the companies reputation as a safe platform even though the product has matured a lot since then.
