      Pros

      Fast paced, exciting environment, working on good technology that is disrupting a large market. Everybody can make a difference and contribute to success. Always challenging assumptions, with very smart people at every level in the company. Benefits are pretty good

      Cons

      There has been a lot of change over the past 6 months - this is part of the company meeting its next stage of evolution, but what is needed now is stability. Some decisions seem expedient in the short term, but not always well thought out or executed.

      Pros

      MongoDB offers an energetic, intelligent, welcoming, and collaborative work environment, and a great work-life balance too. People inside and out of the company are excited about the product and the potential it has. The executive team is approachable, and communicates their vision clearly. Of course, there are also great perks like food, drinks, yoga & fitness classes, massages, showers, ping pong, pool table, and basketball! There always seems to be something going on in the office.

      Cons

      None other than the office being so close to Times Square, and that it can sometimes be difficult to find a phone/conference room.

      Pros

      Individuals, and some small teams, in the company are brilliant and can get amazing things done; In general employees are high quality and have a huge amount of potential.

      Cons

      Departments and teams have little interaction or cohesion. A lack of a vision leads to challenges executing and focusing on short-term goals and the inability to plan for longer term ones. There is no real company culture or ownership which make it hard to be personally invested or put in the extra time or energy to make something great.
