All sizzle. No Steak.

Pros

Pay is decent. Benefits are good.

Cons

No culture. Purely growth driven for shareholders with little to no regard to employees. Uses workers in cheaper labor markets while charging rates from more expensive labor markets and pocketing the difference. Cares more about awards than people. Career growth is stymied by disorganization, confusion, and a lack of clear pathways. Lots of promises. Very little delivery. Largely dispersed workforce and no money for work travel so teams rarely meet face to face.

Nice people but company is a mess

Pros

Good benefits, decent salary, nice people

Cons

Their embedded client model is a disaster. I was not hired to do strategy, despite my title and despite the interview process - I was hired to do whatever my client needs help with. The organization seems to be entirely client-led rather than agency-led. There is almost no management or support; my manager is an amazing person but isn't equipped with the time or training to lead. There is NO culture. None. It is a lonely, confusing company that seems to be doing layoffs constantly despite a weekly email from Sir Martin saying everything is fine.

Work life balance and coworker support is awful

Pros

Random holidays and days off

Cons

There is no support and the expectation to always work no matter what the cost is draining. On two separate occasions a peer of mine experienced a death in their family and were told to suck it up and continue working instead of taking time for their family.
