Pros

Incredible expertise and in-house strategy, true digital marketing pros from the top down. You're always learning and are pushed to achieve more. Metric Theory is an incredible place to work if you truly nerd out on SEM, paid social, and/or lead generation. You'll learn from some of the best out there and will be compensated well in both base salary and in potential bonuses if you manage your book of business well. Work from home is somewhat flexible, taking time off is encouraged, and all the offices are stocked with great snacks and chill spaces. All around, MT is an A+ agency in both its performance and quality as an employer!

Cons

If I could give a 4.5, I would. MT is a wonderful place to work at basically any stage in a marketing career. With that being said, there is an undeniably significant presence of "lifers" - folks who have been working there since graduating college (seriously, like half the company). Metric Theory does a great job teaching new hires and moving them up the ranks to account leadership positions, but it definitely leads to there being a lack of diverse opinions, experience, and overall strategy within teams. Also the social culture could be a bit cliquey as a consequence of this. Another con was that the whole company had a very salesy vibe that could rub some the wrong way coming from smaller agencies or even brand-side positions. In the end, all of these cons are what leads to MT being such a well oiled machine and thriving agency, so maybe its just the cost of success.
