Pros
Excellent salaries and great people to work with. Good opportunities for employee's just starting out in a career with excellent graduate programs
Cons
Inability to deliver projects in an appropriate timescale. Projects often have longer timescales as a result of poor communication and lack of ownership. The business is trying to run a centralised IT management structure in a global environment causing delays as a result of time differences. Often I had to attend conference calls late into the evening because of the time difference with New York. Meetings often talk a lot about the solution and actions taken but at subsequent meetings nothing had been accomplished.
