First, I am sorry that you had a less than desirable experience as an employee of Morrie's. The spirit and promise of Buy Happy has meaning in the workplace as well. I, we all work very hard to make certain that we have put people in a position that allows them to do what they do best naturally, to have fun at work, to earn a fair wage. We always take a share of the responsibility when someone fails in a position. Second, to your specific comments about the GM and SM changes, we were forced to make a change during our recent ownership transition. As we sought the right type of leader for the store, we ended up changing GMs again. This is not typical of Morrie's. We pride ourselves in stability at the GM and management positions. Stable leadership is essential to any long term growth. The current GM is a proven, compassionate capable leader. Culture first is his mission. I am confident that the store will continue to grow under his direction. We are investing millions in people, the facility and training in an effort to improve both the employee and the customer experience. Finally, if you have a specific issue around your compensation please reach out directly to Lisa our HR Director. We want to be certain that if you are owed compensation, that you receive your share. I am sorry that things did not work out between us. I wish you the best in your next job. KS/CEO of MAG

Pros

Morries give great customer service. That alone makes me proud to work for the company. The coworkers are great.HR do a great job when picking potential candidates. Weekly pay, good benefits. Clean and professional environment

Cons

Parking isn't great but that's no biggie it's only bad in the winter. The pay is low. I left my previous job and took a .75 pay cut only to find out they don't give raises. They only give raises to the employees they favor. It was brought to my attention that I was being discriminated against. Yes,pretty sad when a coworker comes and tell you this :( .....they really do not care about any personal problems ,health, family, crisis ,ect. They pick and choose who they are flexible with when it comes to scheduling.

I posted an earlier response but I did not notice that you were still currently working for us. I apologize for the oversight. Please reach out to Lisa T at HR or your GM so that we can work on your issues. As I stated earlier, we do not have a compensation model that adjusts automatically annually. We primarily pay for superior customer handling, production, and efficiency. Pay becomes effective when skill increases, production increases, and in many cases directly with high customer handling scores. We do however demand that al employees be treated fairly and without any bias. The cool thing about our business is that anyone can exceed if they are properly matched to the correct job. Race, religion, age or creed has nothing to do with success or our judgments of people. Again, please reach out so that we can manage through your issues. Regards.. KS/CEO of MAG
