      Good Company to work for.

      Pros

      The over all compensation and challenging work. We build multiple stadiums, wind farms and confidential projects across the country. I have worked for other companies and I know many co workers who would agree that Mortenson treats its employees well, and that the grass is not greener on the "other side".

      Cons

      The Challenging work requires much from a family, whether it's the average 60hr work week for on-site management or the travel (moving) from project to project, but that is all part of construction. The job is always changing.

      Pros

      They have great projects. They provide international opportunities.

      Cons

      They are more interested in getting candidates from Power, Walsh, Gilbane, Pepper, Clark rather than developing from smaller GC. When it comes to hiring diversity they seem to look at white women rather than people of color.

      Pros

      The company is a great and the pay is great. Great benefits for families. They care about safety and making sure it is a safe environment.

      Cons

      Traveling out of state and the hours could be long. No time for anything else but work and sometimes required to work in the weekend.
