Terrible Place to Work

Pros

The pay is decent as well as company benefits. Another plus is that they are finally starting the process of modernizing their technology.

Cons

Does not appear to be a company that offers advancement - many employees in same career for years, lack of training or quality training. People seem bored with their jobs and in my former role, it was not challenging at all.

Very poor company culture

Pros

Good name brand recognition Convienant downtown location in Chicago for corporate headquarters Solid work/life balance

Cons

Below market value for salary compensation and bonuses Many employees work in tunnel vision Outdated processes and systems. No crossfunctional teamwork. There is a "us against all other departments mentality" Poor communication with other departments on all projects on all levels. No desire for root cause analysis on issue resolution. Company culture is to bandaid the issue and then point fingers
