Another worthless survey

Pros

Working with long term employees whom are knowledgeable of the brands and process.

Cons

Favoritism, plant politics. Long term employees viewed as worthless. Survey fails to point to the real problems and correct them.

Pros

It's an iconic company and brand with a great heritage and a bright future. Amazing location in downtown Chicago and just announced moving to a brand new building next year, only two blocks from the current location. It's a company in transition and trying to leap forward from where it has been. Not everything is fixed or will be for a while but if you enjoy transformational work this is the place for you.

Cons

Because it is going through a transformation things are in flux and there is ambiguity at times. There's a culture the company is trying to move away from while keeping the best parts of it and defining a new one. It seems like the organization is really feeling the generational shift of boomers leaving the workforce and millennials entering it. It's not a bad thing, it just feels like you're living through a business school case study at times because there is so much change being driven across all facets of the organization.
