Great training program, high performers get paid well, toxic culture

Pros

Great training program and a lot of smart and driven people to learn from. There is no ceiling to pay if you are a top performer / on a top performing team. Fun happy hours. Good place to accelerate your career and make money if you have thick skin and discipline. They only promote from within

Cons

Work culture is toxic, office politics are bad, executives and top performers routinely get away with misogynistic behavior. Pay is below market standard unless you are a Team Manager+. No 401k match with average health insurance. The company seems to profit off of employee turnover

Pros

I've been at the company for 5+ years now. * Great training and mentorship, this is a real career accelerator compared to starting as a Recruiting Coordinator and you get 1-1 attention from the beginning. * If you want to become a manager, or aren't sure but want to get a taste of what it's like, this is a good spot for that. Since we have large teams of recruiters and only hire new people, we have a need for people who can train and mentor others, or even start new teams. Lots of upward mobility. * Work hard, play hard environment. I really like the positive, fun atmosphere. There's always music playing in the office and everyone celebrates your wins. There's always someone looking to go out and grab dinner or a drink after work on Fridays. * Remote friendly now. I'd say it's mostly 3+ days in office.

Cons

* Micromanagement. I don't view this as a con because as a new hire you want to be getting help. As you become more senior, maybe you feel like you need less attention, and that's something a good manager should respect. * Demanding job. This is not a good job for someone looking to coast, your KPIs matters and your manager will notice if you're not making phone calls, emails, etc.
