Pros

- Company that is on the way to become very successful - Pretty good benefits for a virgin company - Really great employees to work alongside

Cons

- Serious management issues with those who have been given positions despite not being qualified - The HR department has historically and notoriously done a terrible job to advocate on employee's behalf - Working with vendors (outsourced labor) within sales has created a lot of extra work for employees in order to maximize profit for the company - Despite having a startup vibe, there's a lot of red tape that's comes along trying to get promoted (i.e. hard work doesn't necessarily pay off or get recognized) - In the past, there have been issues with giving out a commensurate amount of stocks despite being early on in the company's life

Pros

Remote work. But trying to take that away Great co-workers

Cons

-tracking way too many KPI’s -poor managers who are often firing people who are preforming well for no reason -poor product fit Motive use to be a great place but the middle management has been awful and are more concerned about throwing teams under the bus to make themselves look good. I’d recommend going anywhere else as the turnover rate is high and quota is changed every single month. In addition, if you preform well all goals will be changed and you will be punished for going above and beyond. The company is looking to outsource sales to Pakistan and Mexico.

Pros

Remote work Decent Benefits and healthcare

Cons

No Strategic Direction Higher Management has no clue. People being laid off while promo's happening Let get into Mexico the CEO says and then another layoff round hits 3 layoffs in the last year. Unstable and not profitable

We appreciate you leaving transparent feedback. This past year we had to adjust our strategy to align with shifting markets. That said, we’ve started a Motive Alumni Directory for affected employees to opt-in to share their personal contact information and areas of expertise to help get in front of employers who are hiring.
