Pros

New facilities being built. Pay was decent. I was happy to be an owner.

Cons

Lack of support. Fake fist bumps from all the friends. Let over 20 people go at end of year to make budget. No bonus, no ESOP funds, no matching 401K funds. Beware of that game and 'the survey'. Culture refuses to change. Company pushes 5S, most employees can't fathom past the clean aspect. Lack of maintenance crew.

Pros

1. Truly, every employee owns shares of the company, that grow in value as the company grows...Also, there is an additional 401k match. 2. Leadership listens to individuals and acts on the things that matter most (new ideas, concerns, etc). You're not just a number... and the CEO has an open door policy. 3. Would be hard to find another company today with a better bonus plan. 4. Even during this time of COVID, Mott's hasn't skipped a beat to keep employees safe, continue to grow the business, and remain flexible with employees/families that have unique work/life balance requirements. 5. People care about the work they do and willing to help others out whenever they can. 6. High level of accountability throughout the entire company; when commitments are made, they get done.

Cons

Mott is not a place for people who want to kick back and take it easy. You'll fit in well if you believe in hard work, accountability, and staying flexible.
