They hire literally anyone with a pulse, so it can be a good way to enter the trade with 0 experience or skills

Cons

They lie on every level, they throw temper tantrums and affect your livelihood to prove points and cater to their ego, they operate in sketchy ways with permits, they only care about money, they literally do not give a hoot if your boss is clinically insane and making your life a living hell, they enjoy emotionally manipulating vulnerable people

They exploit you to perform extra work for no additional benefits, provide absolutely no leadership, do not have a comprehensive training program, do not provide feedback, do not provide job descriptions, do not perform annual reviews, pretty much leave you to figure it out on your own with no clear description of what their expectations are and no follow through and no support, get mad when you try to clarify what your expectations are and then create a hostile work environment that they expect you to thrive in.
