Pros

- Great learning opportunity, especially if you are fresh out of college. - Free Japanese classes offered. - Flexible working hours. - One of the few fully-English-speaking tech companies based in Japan.

Cons

- Male dominated workplace. - The upper management tends to be moody. - Company's outlook is not as transparent as that of the companies of similar size.

Pros

- Company is growing fast and putting up extremely good numbers - Capitalized $7m - New office near Tokyo Dome - Catered lunches on Wednesdays - free drinks 24/7 - English speaking office - Japanese is not required - Employees are like family. Everyone gets along extremely well. Best I have ever experienced in Japan. - No horrific stereotypical Japanese management like what one comes to expect working for big companies in Japan - The work is actually fun compared to other companies that I worked - When things occasionally go sideways, everyone comes together to work out solutions instead of playing blame games - extremely fair/competitive compensation packages and benefits

Cons

- We double in size every year, which may require moving to bigger offices every 1 - 2 years - Some of my coworkers work a lot of hours. SO I worry about some of them, but they do it because they want to and not because anyone is forcing them to do so.

Pros

Free lunch, free snacks and drinks. Lots of interesting people from various back grounds. Many company activities and free dinner with colleagues. Some robot training provided.

Cons

Not all of my train fares were provided and I already started to have doubts during my interview before joining this company. There are lots of over time and it is questionable if it's a healthy way to work. The mental health check ups do not work. Nothing improved or changed during the time I worked for this company The most senior person tends to lead people who do not necessarily have leadership skills and I have seen abuse of power because of this. The HR does not provide all of the necessary documents on time. High turnover rate
