Pros

Backed by Salesforce, which is a great company.

Cons

A lot of hiring over the last 12-18 months has resulted in way to too many AE's competing for way too little opportunity and very few Mule AE's make their quota. Mulesoft was a market leader in its prime, but has lost it luster. Mule seems to have very little clout within Salesforce itself and on the outside, there are more nimble, aggressive and less expensive solutions in the market now. Customers really don't care about an API-led approach - they just want faster and easier ways to integrate. Mulesoft also competes with Salesforce's Data Cloud product now, which is where all the hype is now.
