Pros

The good hard working clinical staff on the floor Poor compensation, but best in the area

Cons

Terrible leadership, starting at supervisor level. Core values are never considered in new initiatives. They allow people to advance, but they do so prior to any formal classes on how to manage others. Unsafe working conditions Most expensive local system for a patient to receive care

Pros

The providers go above and beyond for the patients and some are also super nice to the MAs. There’s always something to do and something to work on

Cons

The pay isn’t the best for how much you do. They have. A yearly raise of about 10 cents which isn’t helpful. The company they go through for leave is horrible to work with and can’t seem to understand how pregnant works. Upper management is ALWAYS rough. They get mad at you if they’re wrong and seem to favor the trouble employees and give ultimatums to the good hard working employees. In the neurosurgery department they have an MA who is obviously racist and also discriminates by race and age. When reported, no one did anything except give her another raise. Funny how that happened. If you complained about this MA you’d get told to choose between “fixing your attitude” or leaving. And it was more like “ quit or be fired. Choose one”. They have zero skill in communication. The neurology and physiatry departments are completely disorganized and under staffed mostly because of covid but also because the supervisor bit off more than she can chew there.

Physicians devalued

Pros

Good people in the trenches working hard despite limited resources. Genuinely caring staff.

Cons

Do more with less and less is the mission objective these days. Administrative staff continues to balloon with their 6 figure salaries while people who actually deliver care to patients are devalued. Physicians treated as commodities and at the first chance of being replaced with a cheaper option will be tossed aside. This company has no loyalty, just know if you work here it's a corporation like any other, it doesn't matter how long you've served the community the motto is "What have you done for me lately?" Leaders that attend meetings all day long but when a financial crunch like COVID arises medical practitioners are the first to be sacrificed while administration sits in their offices generating zero value.
