Company sent an official job offer for me to sign, and I was about to quit my other job when the CFO called and revoked the offer completely. He basically said that upon further review of their financial situation, they couldn’t even afford the position that I had applied for, interviewed for, and almost signed an offer for. They told me they were deciding to line down their whole audit department. Crazy stuff and extremely unprofessional behaviour.
