      Profit-driven company who cares little about its employees

      Pros

      Experience in healthcare which may prepare one for somewhere better down the road.

      Cons

      The workers are under-compensated and do not get enough credit for their work. They have demanding job duties and are often required to work overtime on weekends to meet deadlines so they can maintain Myriad's claim to fame: Their turnaround times. There many unethical business practices and politics of this company, which are not to be discussed, create an awkward "elephant in the room" among employees.

      Great work life balance. Amazing uncapped commissions if you stay ahead of the curve in managing your business

      Cons

      Very reactive organization. More and more like big pharma, vastly inconsistent in management expectations, must be part of "boys club" to move up. Lack of required skills and experience to succeed in many of the leaders in HQ
