Great program for graduate students. Coming out of the program with both work experience and the elevated degree definitely gives a leg up. I was able to have many opportunities to learn from really smart people, have a high level of responsibility on projects, and

Cons

It is government work... things move slow, funding is always an issue, infrastructure for engineering and science facilities is old Mentorship was poor, but this was more isolated in my case.
