Pros

There are nice perks and great people to work with. The development team has a lot of leeway to innovate and we get to keep the code elegant, clean and well tested. Folks definitely work full time, but it's not a 24/7 grind. You can work here and have a family.

Cons

The business is growing rapidly, and as a result there's always growing pains. There's also some friction around getting customer issues translated into actionable stories to fix them.

Pros

Nice company, occasional overtime and bonus pay for nights and weekends. Generous PTO accrual. Growing company with frequent opportunities to move up.

Cons

Extremely busy at times. Frequently short-staffed so even if you have vacation time, you can't use it. The company hasn't raised the base pay in 5 years and it's hard to understand who gets promoted and why.
