      Pros

      Once past probation it is nearly impossible to fire you. Moving around by applying internally is not difficult. You can apply overseas to military installations around the world and they pay to relocate you. Heath Benefits, Retirement programs are very good. Banking with a military based bank such as Navy Federal will get you great rates on loans if you work for the DOD.

      Cons

      You have to play politics. There are a lot of bullies, In line with bullies are the power trippers pushing you down. If you were not in the military it will be much harder to adapt to the office.
