      Pros

      Working at NAVFAC allows you to work on important projects for the military that come with some unique challenges. All of my co workers were great people who loved working for the benefit of our military.

      Cons

      NAVFAC does suffer from some of the drawbacks that come with working for big government organizations, namely some complacency and a lot of extra scrutiny from Military clients and regulations that you may not encounter in the private sector.

      Dishonest leadership at local team level. Favoritism that stretches intent of policy. Outdated technology. Inconsistent application of policy. Lack of focus, training, & accountability of technical team.
