      Pros

      PM&E Yorktown team is great to work with. Supervisors protect their engineers and architects from unneeded distractions and pressures. A/E projects are challenging and amazing.

      Cons

      PM&E Commander changes every two (2) years. Project budgets do not allow creativity that commercial or private clients often can. Project budgets must include anti-terrorism force protection, LEED, etc. funds.

      Pros

      Good people in immediate circle. That is the only positive thing I can say. Hate my job so much here.

      Cons

      Just the worst sort of dysfunction. Not supported by higher headquarters but plenty of hypocrisy from the ivory tower. Not well trained for my job. Never able to satisfy customers. Customers are the most unreasonable jerks. Would never agree to work for them if we weren’t stuck with each other. Zero job satisfaction or sense of accomplishment. Can’t wait to leave.

      Benefits & holiday pay.flexible work schedule. pay for training in trade or field of study. They will also pay for school opportunities like getting your Master or MBA

      Cons

      Lack of career advancement. People are hiring their friends who not qualified for position while others who qualified are rejected. You can't get interview but you made cert.It's crazy. Need to be investigation or grievance filed (multiple times).It's ridiculous. They hire good people but they don't stay long once they learn about lack of opportunity and unfair treatment in career advancement. Also, the pay is much lower in government.Unless you out of work for while and just need stable paycheck do not waste your time. The morale is bad. People are frustrated and not motivated. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere
