      Leadership shake down

      Pros

      Very innovative design culture, interesting project types. Strong mentorship and very good breadth of expereince to learn from. Not afraid to test and try new things.

      Cons

      Seattle leadership patting itself too much on the back, and not giving enough recognition to the hard work put in by the "minions." Overly political atmosphere. Its no wonder there was a huge atrition rate this past year - at least a lot of the leadership has been replaced.

      Good company-Bad management

      some nice folks, good design projects, opportunity for travel, flexible schedule

      Cons

      below market salary, management is not well trained in leadership skills, favoritism for subpar performance, management places focus on minor details and sacrifice big vision and goals, marketing strategy lacks clear direction and purpose, marketing planning and strategy is not guided by proven tactics but rather opportunism, project managers are not empowered to succeed which often results in project overruns and loss of profit.

      Great people. Great projects. The people are the best asset here and by that I mean the everyday people you deal with whom are with you on the team.

      Cons

      Management needs some serious help. Very top-loaded. Work-life balance very very very difficult -- no balance.
