Cons

Little can be done to escape the hierarchy All work is "do and redo" Clients consistently have high expectations and low budgets All projects are the same in the end Many people do not receive annual raise Lots of grunt work Weekend work is common

Interesting work, forward thinkers, social offices, good benefits and profit-share scheme

Cons

Poor pay, little support for growth (unless you are one of the favourites), NBBJ would rather let people go than invest in them or realise potential for growth - a ceiling seems to exist whereby those in leadership protect their positions by discouraging those 'below' them to learn and grow; HR department poorly run; severe lack of diversity - very 'male and pale'; too many committees/management meetings, very hard to get quick decisions; females not truly supported through their working life (zero maternity support, working from home and flexible working frowned upon); long hours are not rewarded, and are expected.
