Pros

Very Competent Management. One of the most profitable firms amongst its competitors. The company genuinely wants to do the right thing and have fun doing it.

Cons

It is a big corporate environment.

Pros

It really is one of the best design firms in the world. The horizontal structure allows for inspired creation, and gives you the flexibility to show your abilities. You are given a platform in which to showcase your own talents. If you do not utilize this platform, it is no fault but your own. I've been impressed with what has surfaced as a result of this freedom. There are some truly talented and gifted people working in each studio of this firm. There are also excellent incentives to travel with offices in locations like Dubai, London, Moscow, Shanghai and more.

Cons

New employees need to be prepared to deal with a paradigm shift between old school and new school. You will find pushback from both sides, with the old school stuck in their ways and the new school challenging the norm.

Pros

The best reasons to work there are the opportunities to work on larger projects that would otherwise have been out of your reach. The pay is pretty good and the firm usually has get togethers involving food and drinks. If you shmooze with the right people, leveling up to more responsibilties is pretty easy. Most of administration is really nice and you usualy find yourself talking to them rather than working because its more interesting. The facilities are pretty modern, they just upgraded their office (10/07) to a new building and got a lot of new equipment. The facility is also located in a pretty respectable area.

Cons

Some of the downsides are longer hours, I was usually working 9am-7:30/8:00pm hour days. There would be people there longer than that, but I think they were just trying to get boring stuff done. Although much of the design is exciting, it is still very corporate. At some smaller more popular firms, you get a chance to do something revolutionary, while here it may be your first time doing a shopping mall, or a hospital, but they still follow the rules and do everything by the book in regards to the design process. Some employees are also difficult to deal with.
