      Lots of talent, though competitive, there is room for advancement if one is more outspoken, entreprenurial or driven. Collaborative and semi-flat organization.

      Cons

      45-60 hour weeks depending on project and management strategy. Lack of mentorship due to flat organization, must be a self-starter to succeed, which is a pro and a con, depending on ones personality.

      Pros

      The company culture and staff are among the most knowledgeable in the competition, especially in healthcare. Their marketing team is very strong and there are multiple project types to expand a design career. Also, a truly global firm, NBBJ solicits advice and communicates with all offices.

      Cons

      Needs more work/life balance. No Christmas bonus this year.

      Pros

      The company is design focused: aesthetics, function, human experience, and craft are always at the forefront of decisions. Employees are valued and well treated. Everybody gets a chance to argue for their opinion. The best idea wins. Thursday crits involve beer and food and are always a great opportunity to engage with peers and make our work the best it can be.

      Cons

      Top down decisions are hard to enforce because of the networked culture. Things can sometimes be a bit slow to change and aren't always as efficient as they could be.
