Pros

Work with top news personalities and shows in the business.

Cons

They work you like a dog. 8-9 days in a row, no holidays or weekends off. not sure anyone there ever took the time to even learn my name. the management is inept and does not foster talent, probably more concerned with protecting their own paycheck. my perception of the news business totally plummeted after being there which is unfortunate. Also HR will take at minimum a week to respond to your emails which is unprofessional and unacceptable. could frankly use some seasoned management with true management skills to class up the joint.

Pros

The Cyber Security organizations within NBCU are top class with many coming from companies such as Crowdstrike, FireEye, etc. In addition it is common for many within Cyber to move from role to role internally, think blue team to red team to governance, risk, and compliance. Another plus is the company culture, they do not force diversity, they apply it. They train many people internally from all backgrounds of life to gain the skills needed to move up the cyber ladder.

Cons

Nothing, working here is awesome!
