Pros

My time at Nexon was amazing! To be honest, I never understood the negative reviews and comments about this place. Everyone from the directors to administrative team was a pleasure to work with. Nexon has a lot of talented and bright people. I made lifelong friends that made it easy to come to work early or even stay late. I'm very thankful for my manager and team, they made work fun. Don't get me wrong... work was still stressful and challenging but my team was very supportive, helpful, and willing to teach. It was really hard to make a decision to move on from Nexon. It was more of a career move than anything. In the end, Nexon is family. Pros: - Free Snacks - Free monthly lunches - Happy Hour - New office all equipped with standing desk - Casual attire (e.g. shirt, shorts, and sandals)

Cons

Nexon just needs that ONE game to put them at the top.

Pros

Great team members that are passionate about the work and take care of each other. They are trying to expand by getting more Western developed games.

Cons

Controlled by Korean overlords both in Korea and in El Segundo. What games to publish, game updates, and development are all heavily dictated by the whims of the Korean office and their higher ups. Constant change in both upper management and organization/teams. Commitment to Quality is a goal that is preached but rarely obtained. Its hard when a massive MMORPG has 1 or 2 QAs dedicated to it. Compensation is not up to market for most positions. Not even close.

Pros

Hard to find pros to be honest. -Good coffee machine -doesn't have a strict clock in time

Cons

-long working hours despite being able to start later -the projects just keep piling up even when previous projects are still pending -not much room for growth, you do the same thing day in day out -our customer service is one of the worst -the only goal of this company is money and more money -very low pay -we have to get approval from nexon korea which is enefficient as nexon korea loves to take their own sweet time -Did I mention that the customer service is bad and all they want is the customer's money? And by bad I mean they don't even bother reading the reports from customers and just send a copy-paste message and mark the report issue as resolved. - If you weren't in the inner circle, you weren't moving up -Unprofessional
