So glad I left!

Pros

Great co workers and peers. Culture prior to the pandemic was positive with lots of perks and fun events.

Cons

After the pandemic the culture has plummeted. Everyone's workload has increased tenfold as employers have left for better opportunities and management had not hired new people. I was doing 6x the work as pre pandemic for the same pay. Management was out of office more than in and only picked up the phone if there was a complaint about your work. Never commended you for what you were doing well even though you were dedicated to the team and putting in long hours.

We agree we’re fortunate to have such exceptional colleagues. During the pandemic NFP implemented a Blended Workplace Program that’s a blend of remote, hybrid and in-person work in our offices. We’ve worked hard to create a flexible work environment and place a high value on our relationships with each other. We're also focused on ensuring we have the resources in place to support our employees by providing training and learning opportunities for everyone to grow. This, along with recognition and appreciation are essential elements of our PeopleFirst approach which we will always work to improve. Thank you for your contributions to our clients during your time with NFP and for your feedback. -Kim Pillar, SVP Human Resources

Horrific

Pros

Zero. HQ is in a terrible location, not easily accessible any anyone outside of Bucks County.

Cons

Prepare to respond to every email from clients while attempting to be strategic. Desirable traits include reactivity, with zero ability to build strategy given the priority is to be responsive. All of the time. No work from home flexibility, not family friendly. If you have children, do not apply.

Don’t trust management

Pros

I had great coworkers and clients.

Cons

Management was not truthful. They tell you what you want to hear and then breaks a promise.

We always encourage our employees to speak with their supervisor about any issues, but if that isn't an option then employees should feel confident in talking with their HR Business Partner. Regarding this specific situation, please email us at humanresources [at] nfp [dot] com as we want to understand your concerns. -Mary Steed
