Pros

Their health benefits and 401k match are on par or better then what most companies offer today. Family Oriented atmosphere. Great people with a very friendly and energetic work environment.

Cons

Takes a while to get promoted. For some reason the NHL would rather bring in outside members instead of hiring from within. Most of the times the NHL becomes to business oriented in their decisions leading to bad overall decisions.

Pros

Awesome job if you are a hockey fan. Access to terrific events and local games.

Cons

Ineffective senior leadership leads to stagnant career growth. Other reviews discussing "old, grumpy boys club" is fairly accurate. Legacy financial systems do not work well and there's little interest to effectively upgrade. Project managers more concerned with job security than effective implementations.
