Pros

Solid benefits including pension. Pay is fair. If you love hockey and work in the right department you'll get to experience the game from a whole new perspective.

Cons

Secrecy and cronyism is rampant throughout the League. There is lots of dead weight hanging around certain departments. Very low ceilings for advancement, however if you are creative you may be able to create a role for yourself.

Pros

Good perks with free NHL tickets, travel and MSG/Newark box seats. People were very passionate about the sport.

Cons

Not sure the direction of the place. Lockout cost people salary but not jobs. Hours were long.
