Pros

Decent pay, yearly bonus increase. Benefits are great. They provide paid training and licensing. Most Holidays off with Juneteenth, Labor Day, & Memorial Day considered for comp time.

Cons

No work life balance. Only provided 6 days of sick time (you’re not encouraged/allowed to use your pto as sick time) + 3 comp days . You’re required to take a full week off paid vacation and 5 random days. The time must be requested through a bid 2-3 months prior to the new year. Majority of the days are blocked out from the calendar throughout the year. HR has admitted it is hard to get time off in Personal Lines Department.

Pros

You will meet a few genuine ppl along the way!

Cons

Other companies pay wayyyyyyyyy more, almost triple the salary doing less work….They promote getting your AIC to make what you are supposed to be already making! No other company care about you getting your AIC!!! NJM has the wool over majority of the workers eyes WAKE UP AND GET OUT!!!…..They are paying employees crumbs to do EXCESSIVE work…The administration staff don’t care nothing about you AT All!! Everyone is miserable there! People are leaving every other week for better job opportunities!! Some of the supervisors act like High Schoolers it’s ridiculous!! Shut this office down they are useless, unorganized, unethical and upper management is for self!!! The fact that they don’t promote you and keep you in the same position for yearssssss with many promises of one day you will is sickening and sad!!!!

Pros

Solid 401k, Good Health Insurance, Sometimes Surprise Bonuses are given

Cons

The company has had such a high turnover rate to other departments and people going to other jobs that they decided to not speak about metrics but they are still very much spoken to. There's a ton of people in higher positions that are extremely under qualified. This job doesn't pride employees on actual customer experience or work ethic; they promote people who cozy up. The way bathroom use is policed has become absurd. They will tell you that it's okay to take breaks when you need to but then harass you about it later. They use Ring Central and have everyone on auto answer so you can't even eat or drink let alone talk to your peers without having someone on your line so you must immediately say hello and then you are bullied if your after call work is too long, Break times should be for taking a break- not to make sure you're completing all bathroom use for the day. There is zero time to actually talk to your peers. The company expects all bathroom use to be completed during your two 10 minute breaks that should be time to refresh and take a breather. They added rooms for prayer that take almost the entire 10 minutes just to walk to and back from and then wonder why no one uses them to meditate or ask a higher power for a new job. This job will expect you to come in when your child is sicker than a dog and guilt you for even considering asking for a day to stay home with them. Supervisors are allowed to do whatever they want. They can leave as they please and stroll around the floor without a care in the world and have no clue what it's like to be on auto answer or have such crazy metrics since they weren't even like that before they got promoted. They do not support peers when call volume is high and instead expect us to be all hands on deck.....
