      Pros

      The work can be interesting but you're likely going to do just being doing anything that the Partner can sell the client regardless if the client needs that service or not.

      Cons

      The tone at the top is arrogant, deceitful and greedy. The CEO is an absolute control freak and absolutely loves to swear and yell at people. If you're even questioning working here or doing business with them, just go look at all the former employees on LinkedIn. Reach out to former employees. There's a reason they don't have a lot of tenured employees. Churn and burn and if they don't sell enough work to keep you on the payroll, goodbye! I couldn't believe how poorly they treated people.

      A bunch of basic level accountants

      This firm presents itself as a go to solution for accounting and finance needs. The website lists a number of services that NowCFO in theory performs. In reality, it is a bunch of low level accountants that only know how to do basic accounting tasks. Anything above a controller level for a small private company (read: anything outside of basic accounting tasks) and they do not have ANYONE with experience and knowledge. Typical consultants are someone who takes a job for a year or so until they find someone else; turnover is incredible. This is a company of 200 consultants with a turnover over 50% is my guess. Customer service is nonexistent. The only focus is on billing hours; if quality of work is not what is expected, they will never accept responsibility. Partners are a joke - same low level accountants; hard to understand why they would be viewed by anyone in the business community as credible sources of knowledge and expertise. Business Development Representatives in many cases are embarrassing - a bunch of women who know nothing about the industry or applicable requirements. They utter nonsense most of the time; it is simply embarrassing when that happens in front of a client or business contacts. All that matters is sales and screw the clients.

      Don’t believe the good reviews. Employees are asked/told to write good reviews to mask the bad ones. All lies!

      Pros

      There are no pros to this company. They continuously make their people feel like crap and threaten them. The CEO is abusive mentality and emotionally. You will be screamed at and cursed at. The F word is very common and being told you don’t matter and you are replaceable is also very common to be heard. Every single employee is disposable to management. The employees don’t matter to them even though the business is a people business. How are they still in business? This is something I ask myself everyday.

      I think it’s hilarious that there are so many good reviews done very close to the same day. Come on.....shady, lies, the list goes on and on. Who are they fooling? I know for a fact they asked all their current employees to write good reviews to boost the ratings and shadow the bad reviews. It’s so funny. This is how this company operates. Instead of actually fixing their problems they just try to cover it up. That’s exactly how they operate everyday. Just cover it up and hopefully no one will find out. Everything is a secret. Ask yourself...do you really want to work for a company like this? The answer should be no. You will be highly disappointed by this abusive place. All the good reviews are BS and no one is actually happy at this place. Please don’t consider working for or working with this company. There are about 10,000 other opportunities out there that will be better than this place. GUARANTEED!
