      Working at NPL had a good mix of positive and negative experiences.

      Pros

      Pay - Not bad for not experience. Advancement - Prove yourself and you can go from laborer to operator and foreman in no time.

      Cons

      Half of the Foremans don't take safety seriously nor do they bother to actually teach you anything . Fired me due to "Performance Issues" but would not tell me what they were. They don't take disciplinary action as they should and let Foremans get away with too much shady stuff.

      Good bunch of merry misfits

      Cons

      You plateau after Foreman with no room to advance after that, no actual hand on training other then computer, retirement is virtually non existent(25yrs=$50k), management always says they need more production, and for a billion dollar company why do we not have the tools that we need and when we do ask for tools why is revenue always brought up...weakest union known to man
