Pros

The staff were all friendly, actively mentored me and shared opportunities I could be a part of The experience was full-time so I felt I was able to get more out of it in comparison to part-time during the 3-4 month time frame The internship is set up for you to be a self-starter and go-getter, so you are able to pursue stories, projects and ideas

Cons

There's a temp culture that gets passed down to interns as the next step for them after the internship finishes. It is harder when you're not interning in DC HQ's because you don't have face time with the majority of the shows and teams hosted from there
