Pros

Strong hires and wonderful coworkers. Great culture and increasingly inclusive. Family benefits are also improving and very competitive. Good retirement options. Satisfactory union involvement.

Cons

Rapidly changing and convoluted employee resource systems, software, and data input (payroll, goals/reviews, expense reporting, employee survey, and IT support/trouble tickets). Lack of advancement and training opportunities that are on the clock or across departments. Numerous communications that are challenging to glean useful information relevant to the employee.

Pros

Fun, multitalented and supportive colleagues mostly living in DC and surrounding areas. New CEO John Lansing means business on diversity and other issues in the workplace. He's been a steady, compassionate leader through hard times.

Cons

Hiring freeze and salary cuts during pandemic, but outlook is looking up.
