Great place to work but continuously in flux

Pros

NRG continuously innovates and tries to find its soul with the moving market conditions. If you are in the right circles, you can get very good experience and opportunities. The Benefit programs are very good including 401k, bonus & health plans. It is a great place to work IF you are in the right department/right management.

Cons

There is a flip side to the Pros listed above. Since the company is in flux, management changes often and you may sometimes find yourself in a difficult situation and a difficult role, trying to please new management with their preferences. It can be an unforgiving experience if you take a chance and fail.
