      Growing pains , never seem to simmer

      Pros

      Unfortunately, this list is decreasing by the day, but lets try - yes, Global company with varied opportunities. Reasonable policies and benefits. Good Opportunities and very friendly co-workers.

      Cons

      The strategy for growth which is primarily acquisition does not seem to work . All the good consultants leave as they do not want to handle big company bueracracy. Primarily a staffing firm , there are a very few large customer engagements with managed services and this situation does not seem to improve inspite of the numerous acquisitions.. The entire support organization like Finance and HR are a joke and sure shot opportunities for outsourcing.

      Pros

      NTT Data seems like a great company to work for. They offer good benefits and time on the bench and has a very good recruiting division.

      Cons

      Once released from your current contract, they seem to be very slow on trying to fit you in to a new organization. I spent my two weeks on the bench trying to find my next contract with little or no help from the company.

      Pros

      If you like receiving just a paycheck and don't care about career development and don't want a raise, NTT Data is for you. Vacation policy is good.

      Cons

      Management doesn't know what their employees do. Employees are basically on their own - have to write their own reviews and everyone has the same objective which is ridiculous since employees have different responsibilities. There are no guidelines when it comes to salary increases - doesn't matter what you receive on your annual review, managers pick and choose who they want to give increase to in their group. Only saw two promotions in my group and they were both from overseas. These two were average employees and there were more deserving employees. Side not - manager is from overseas too.
