Pros

Good benefits, opportunities for advancement

Cons

Upper management has deteriorated since CoB stepped down several years ago. New management brought in has been less than stellar and disappointing to those that have been there for years. No real leadership.

Pros

I can’t think of one pro of working there. There is a systematic racism and unfair treatment problem that they have their and it is reinforced by the White and Asian leadership at the Fairfax VA office. They are fake individuals that set out to make my experience there very difficult and an awful place to be.

Cons

Working at NVR was not a good environment to work in. They did not have a diverse management team at all, did not know how to lead or mentor or include a diverse workforce and specifically for the few black employees that worked in the Fairfax VA office. There were so many cons to mention. You don’t get the sense that they want to work with a diverse group of people. They promote the same people and someone said it best, “the culture takes me back to high school and a popularity contest”

Pros

Nothing really. The upstairs bathroom is nice enough, I guess.

Cons

The people in charge lack ability and awareness of how to train someone. It was horrible.
